One day while we Way Ambassadors were witnessing in another city, the sky began to darken and drizzle, we all ran for cover under a roof, and it began to rain very hard.
We decided that the weather wasn’t going to take away our joy, and started singing several hymns from the songbook while we waited under the roof. During that time a lady who was with her daughters in the same place, also waiting for the rain to stop, asked us who we were. We shared with her who we were and what we were doing.
As we chatted with her, my seven-year-old son said, “Why don’t we pray? Prayer has power!” Right there we all held hands and prayed in the name of Jesus Christ that the rain would stop, and at the end of the prayer, it literally stopped raining. The Junior Way Ambassador shouted, “Prayer works!” This incident had an impact on everyone, especially on the lady and her daughters. And it strengthened in our hearts what we are as ambassadors and how God manifests Himself so powerfully in our lives.
