Since I was a child, I knew about God and loved Him, but in my mind He was so imposing that I felt my relationship with Him was distant. He was busy solving bigger problems than the ones I had. I was taught that God ruled with a heavy hand, and I wanted to go to heaven, so my actions and conduct were fear based. Whenever I felt that I had sinned, I was anxious and uncertain about attaining a place to be with God.
The knowledge of the accuracy and rightly divided Word of God that I learned from all the classes that The Way Ministry avails to those who hunger and thirst after righteousness set me on the right path to know my heavenly Father’s true heart for me and my life. To know that He loves me, forgives me readily, and cares for every detail of my life, whether big or small matters, brings me great peace and the delight of a close and personal relationship. I also know without a doubt that Christ will return for me.
I have learned about and experienced God’s graciousness, His tender mercy, His exceeding great and precious promises coming into fruition in my life as I believe His Word. I know of His boundless love for me, and that to love Him back is to manifest that love in service to the family of God and to share His excellent Word with others.
My heart is full of thankfulness for the integrity of the Word that The Way International has cultivated and protected throughout the years so that we can enjoy living His Word and entrust it to future generations to endure until the return of Christ.
